THERE IS NO PUNISHMENT – Distinct and Clear

pope francis there is no hellIn an article titled "What Pope Francis Can Say To The Non-Believers Of Europe" published in La Repubblica on March 15, 2015, Eugenio Scalfari brings back to surface some of the important ideas that "pope" Francis formulated in regards to the mystery of faith. Scalfari reminds us of some crucial moments during his past meetings with the illegitimately elected man, and proceeds to report both his own question and the pontiff's answer:

"And for those who have no faith? His answer is that 'if one has loved others like oneself (possibly even a bit more than oneself) then the Father will welcome him/her. Faith helps but it is not the element of the one who judges, but it is life. Sin is part of life, repentance also is part of it. Regret, the sense of guilt and the desire of redemption, the abandonment of selfishness.'"

We know that this statement, in itself, is filled with error and, therefore, is heresy in itself. We know that to love your neighbor like yourself is the second Commandment of Jesus Christ, which is possible to follow only when putting God first.

~ One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: "‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." ~ Matthew 22:35-39

This heresy is most grave, for it is impossible for the Father in Heaven to welcome a creature who does not recognize His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as his Lord and Savior. This is the faith we must have and without which we shall perish in eternal fire, forever and ever.
After these few lines, the La Repubblica editor continues on by linking Bergoglio's thread to the 'animalistic nature' of the selfish man, therefore appearing as if putting a personal spin to what Francis had just expressed.

The illegitimate pontiff proceeds with the following statement: "La fede aiuta ma non è quello l'elemento di chi giudica, è la vita." This is a rather strange phrase, for it is grammatically incorrect in the Italian language. Literally translated it means "Faith helps but it is not the element of the one who judges, it is life". How do we interpret such statement? And why the very editor of a newspaper like Repubblica did not notice and/or correct such improper and syntactically ambiguous statement? To us it is certainly on purpose, for nothing is ever a coincidence and confusion remains one of the most effective strategies when it comes to false prophets. In this case, what Bergoglio intends to say is that faith helps but it is not what determines a sentence. Rather, it is in how a person's life is. This theory is false for it denies the primary importance of the mystery of faith in the process of salvation. If we pick just one of the many passages in Scriptures regarding this subject, it is evident that Bergoglio's theory is absolutely heretical:

"The only thing that counts is faith working in love" ~ Galatians 5:6

Continuing along the reminders that the editor of La Repubblica highlights, we come across another statement which no Pope has ever declared since the beginnings of the foundation of Christ's Mystical Body on earth. From the lowest levels of his blatant and boastful spiritual dementia, Jorge Mario Bergoglio dares to state, once again, his own blasphemous doctrine of Hell by answering Scalfari's question "what happens to a lost soul" that lost its light because of selfishness, Francis answers with yet, another heresy of unprecedented gravity:

"What happens to that lost soul? Will it be punished? And how? The response of Francis is distinct and clear: 'There is no punishment, but the annihilation of that soul. All the others will participate in the beatitude of living in the presence of the Father. The souls that are annihilated will not take part in that banquet; with the death of the body their journey is finished.'"

On October 9,  2017 Eugeno Scalfari reiterated this false teaching of Pope Francis in an article titled "The Church That Fights Contemporary Narcissism".  He wrote:

"Pope Francis, preceded in this by John XXIII and Paul VI, but with a more revolutionary force than ecclesial theology, has abolished the places where, after death, souls must go: Hell, Purgatory, Paradise. Two thousand years of theology have been based on this kind of afterlife, which even the Gospels confirm. However, it is with some attention to the theme of Grace – that is in part due to the letters of Saint Paul (to the Corinthians and the Romans) and partly even more so to Augustine of Hippo. All souls are endowed with Grace, and so they are born perfectly innocent and they remain so unless they take the path of evil. If they are aware of it and do not repent even at the moment of death, then they are condemned. Pope Francis, I repeat, has abolished the places of eternal dwelling in the afterlife of souls. The thesis held by him is that the souls dominated by evil and not repentant cease to exist while those who are redeemed from evil will be assumed into beatitude, contemplating God."

On March 29, 2018, Holy Thursday, in an article titled It Is an Honor to Be Called a Revolutionary, Scalfari again reported that Francis does not believe in Hell.  He asked Bergoglio, "What about the bad souls?".  He writes that Pope Francis said "They are not punished, those who repent obtain the forgiveness of God and enter the rank of souls who contemplate him, but those who do not repent and cannot therefore be forgiven disappear. There is no hell, there is the disappearance of sinful souls."

Over time, Pope Francis has worked even further to abolish true belief in Hell and the Final Judgement, working towards an "everyone gets saved" false doctrine with words such as these:

"No one can be condemned for ever, because that is not the logic of the Gospel!" – Amoris Laetitia – APRIL 8, 2016 – VATICAN

"Never fear the final judgment, because Christ will always be at our side." – DECEMBER 11, 2013 – LA STAMPA

"The closing pages of the Bible show us the ultimate horizon of our journey as believers: the heavenly Jerusalem, the celestial Jerusalem. It is envisioned first of all as an immense tent, where God will welcome all mankind so as to dwell with them definitively." – AUGUST 23, 2017 – VATICAN

"It is here that the great news of Christianity is found: a God who, in spite of being disappointed by our mistakes and our sins, does not go back on his word, does not stop, and above all does not avenge himself! Brothers and sisters, God does not avenge himself! God loves, he does not avenge himself, he waits for us to forgive us, to embrace us." – OCTOBER 8, 2017 – VATICAN

"a Christian knows that in that same future there will be Christ’s return. No one knows when this will take place, but the thought that at the end of our history there will be Merciful Jesus suffices in order to have faith and not to curse life. Everything will be saved. Everything." – OCTOBER 11, 2017 – VATICAN

We believe that all these quotes speak on their own and need no further explanation. We are only inserting one passage from the Gospel of Jesus Christ as to make sure that even those who are not very familiar with God's Holy Word may see:

The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.~ Matthew 13:41-42, 49-50

POPE FRANCIS – Don’t Quote Me On That

FACT:  Neither 'Pope Francis' nor those speaking for him have ever vehemently denounced or emphatically denied his words as relayed by Scalfari or demanded a retraction or correction of any of these articles.

THE SCALFARI ISSUE

Not that long ago we might remember that the Vatican had to pull the interviews from their website in October 2013, and more than once it has been suggested  that perhaps 'pope Francis' has been misquoted and misrepresented by Scalfari. Some 'quotes' which got the 'Pope' into trouble back in 2013 were:

'The most serious of the evils that afflict the world these days are youth unemployment and the loneliness of the old'
'Each of us has a vision of good and of evil. We have to encourage people to move towards what they think is good'
'I believe in God, not in a Catholic God. There is no Catholic God'

Even after the controversy surrounding the Scalfari interviews, 'Pope Francis' himself insisted that these very interviews be published in a book titled Interviste e Conversazioni con i Giornalisti (Interviews and Conversations with Journalists) by the Vatican publishing house Libreria Editrice Vaticana.

pope francis scalfariFrancis Insists on Interviews as Part of his Magisterium
In book form, all the controversial "recognized interviews of Pope Francis, published by L'Osservatore Romano, the newspaper of the Holy See and other newspapers" are to be issued.
With the release they are accorded special importance. The emphasis is on "recognized" interviews. The question of authenticity was previously highly controversial. A fortiori, since Eugenio Scalfari, doyen of the left-liberal journalism announced, he had even formulated the papal responses in the two interviews he had with Pope Francis.  The printing was done, however, with the explicit imprimatur of the Pope, says Scalfari. A real denial was never pronounced by the Vatican. Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi danced on eggshells with his comments in connection to the publication of both Scalfari interviews, with which he on one hand, confirmed the content of the controversial Pope's statements, but at the same time attempted a kind of distancing.
Not a few Catholics have denied so far, that the interviews were part of the papal Magisterium. Pope Francis seems to have always seen it differently. Since the Osservatore Romano has reprinted the interviews and even published them on the website of the Holy See as parts of the papal magisterium, but they were again withdrawn and re-released, there can hardly be any doubt, that  Pope Francis according to the collected output of  the Vatican publishing house of the statements, the form, the rapid and controversial doctrinal documents, indeed  indicates their  authenticity as statements of his Magisterium.
The Eponymous Flower

THE NON-DENIAL "DENIAL"

In the eternal need of spin control with this 'pope', Father Thomas Rosica, of the Holy See Press Office, was quick to jump in once again and let it be known that the Pope’s words in Scalfari's March 15, 2015 article are not 'official texts'.  And the Vatican released this statement after the March 29, 2018 Scalfari article: "A recent meeting between Pope Francis and Italian journalist Eugenio Scalfari, 93, was a private meeting for the occasion of Easter, however without giving him any interview. What is reported by the author in today’s article is the result of his reconstruction, in which the literal words pronounced by the Pope are not quoted. No quotation of the aforementioned article must therefore be considered as a faithful transcription of the words of the Holy Father.”

Neither of the Vatican's lawyerly statements even attempt to deny the substance of what was said ("there is no Hell") by Pope Francis or offer any explanation other than the exact wording may not be perfectly precise and that his heretical statements are not to be considered "official".

In May, 2015 – well after the controversial interviews were published – 'Pope Francis' stated that La Repubblica is the only newspaper he reads and he continues to grant interviews to the elderly man who allegedly doesn't record or write anything down.  To date he has granted Scalfari interviews on September 24, 2013, July 13, 2014, November 1, 2015, November 7, 2016,  and July 8, 2017.

SPIN IT AGAIN

On November 1, 2015 La Repubblica reported in another article by Eugenio Scalfari that Pope Francis said the following in a telephone conversation with the journalist after the conclusion of the Synod on the Family:
'POPE FRANCIS': "The diverse opinion of the bishops is part of this modernity of the Church and of the diverse societies in which she operated, but the goal is the same, and for that which regards the admission of the divorced to the Sacraments, it confirms that this principle has been accepted by the Synod. This is bottom line result, the de facto appraisals are entrusted to the confessors, but at the end of faster or slower paths, all the divorced who ask will be admitted."

On November 2, 2015 Edward Pentin of the National Catholic Register reported that Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi said this:
LOMBARDI: "As has already occurred in the past, Scalfari refers in quotes what the Pope supposedly told him, but many times it does not correspond to reality, since he does not record nor transcribe the exact words of the Pope, as he himself has said many times. So it is clear that what is being reported by him in the latest article about the divorced and remarried is in no way reliable and cannot be considered as the Pope's thinking."
Pentin went on 'Father Lombardi said he would not be issuing a statement about the matter as those who have “followed the preceding events and work in Italy know the way Scalfari writes and knows these things well.”'

Please notice that not once does the Vatican spokesman actually and honestly deny the words of Pope Francis but can only say that the quote "is in no way reliable and cannot be considered as the Pope's thinking"
Why not just say Pope Francis never said this and demand an apology and retraction from La Repubblica?
Why the careful game of words?
Why the slippery maneuvers so often seen in politics and corporate PR?

Edward Pentin ends his NCR article by asking "Why does the Pope continue to speak to someone such as Scalfari, and discuss such sensitive subjects with him, when he knows he is unreliable but likely to report his words without reference to a recording or transcript?"

FICTION BECOMES REALITY

It is also interesting to note that back on January 02, 2014 The National Catholic Reporter ran a story by Jimmy Akin titled 'Don't Fall for this Pope Francis Hoax' and one month later on February 04, 2014 issued a similar article titled ‘Did the Pope Really Say That? Probably Not’ by Eric Lyman. In these articles the authors expose a fake spoof site called The Diversity Chronicle that ran a satire piece on ‘Pope Francis’ which was then widely circulated. The fake news website made many outlandish false claims about ‘Pope Francis’, even including his call for a Third Vatican Council. One particular fake quote of ‘Pope Francis’ created by the satire website which the National Catholic Reporter lists was this:

FAKE ‘POPE’ QUOTE: ‘The church no longer believes in a literal hell where people suffer…This doctrine is incompatible with the infinite love of God. God is not a judge but a friend and a lover of humanity. God seeks not to condemn but only to embrace.
-Satire Website The Diversity Chronicle, 12/05/2013

Now, about one year later, we have the founder of Repubblica, a very real newspaper, attributing these words to the ‘Pope’:

REAL 'POPE' QUOTE:  ‘There is no punishment, but the annihilation of that soul. All the others will participate in the beatitude of living in the presence of the Father. The souls that are annihilated will not take part in that banquet; with the death of the body their journey is finished.
-La Repubblica, 03/15/2015

It is undeniably remarkable and extremely curious just how similar the fake quote from a satire website is to the real words of 'Pope Francis' in the La Reppublica article published on March 15, 2015.

THE GAME

Contrarily to what the Katholik Gestapo media wants us to believe, the entire La Repubblica article (just like all the previous interviews between Scalfari and Francis) is a cunning and well-plotted tool for a multi-layered deceit created by Jorge Mario Bergoglio, Eugenio Scalfari and the masonic organizations behind them:

1) Francis spreads his true religious views by mixing evolutionary science, communism, humanism and relativism camouflaged by an overabundance of gratuitous mercy and overly simplistic Catholic-sounding catch phrases – all in a religious broth for all tastes.
2) Since Eugenio Scalfari, whom is an atheist, is a great supporter of all the above mentioned approaches, he is being wrongly blamed for changing the words of the pontiff, so unbelievably non-Catholic they seem to the faithful.
3) Little that the naive faithful know, the two have planned these free-masonic triumphant interviews all along; and because of Francis' choice to have all three interviews published in a book, we know that he is in total agreement with all the quotes contained within them and credited to his name.
4) How were the interviews to be executed according to their plot? It was decreed that all people should believe that these interviews shall be (falsely) paraphrased. Therefore, since the interviewer was not to write down (or record) the pope's answers word by word, he was to be accused of inserting his own words. In addition, Scalfari was to add some of his own personal opinions in the introduction and between questions so as to give the interview a sense of a "novelistic" story written with a specific personal point of view. But this is part of the trick.
5) The corrupt Catholic media of masonic propaganda to which Scalfari belongs (the Katholik Gestapo media) will stage the attacks on Scalfari. Yet, not one word against him will ever be said directly by the allegedly misquoted (and only involved) party: "pope" Bergoglio.
He will remain humbly above this "gossiping mediatic chaos" through his silent approval, since unless denied, one's statements will automatically be approved by the same author.
6) The KGB's (Katholik Gestapo of Bergoglio)  hired "online hateful defenders" will then blame Scalfari as well (for allegedly having invented the entire interview) and will also accuse us as the unmerciful accusers who have no proof of these interviews to be real. And, of course, what we declare to instead be false is, to them, completely real.
7) If this were to be true, then why would Bergoglio ever go back to the same alleged 'liar' who caused so much stir to begin with? And why would Bergoglio insist the interviews be included in a book?  And why wouldn't Bergoglio strongly condemn the false representation and demand a retraction?
8) Because what you read is what Bergoglio truly said, and the deceit works perfectly as they easily obtained the result they wished for.

CUT BACK ON THE PASTA – By the Way, the Pope Just Denied Hell

Pope, Francis, False, Prophet, Hell, Pizza, Pasta, diet
Fox News, Time, The Huffington Post, The Telegraph, Catholic Culture, the Today Show and many other mainstream news outlets felt it very necessary to let us know that ‘Pope’ Francis has been advised by his doctors to ‘cut back on the pasta’ (this story surfaced during Holy Week), but very few (if any) of these same news sources have even covered or questioned the Scalfari article where the very ‘Vicar’ of Christ and ‘Head’ of the Catholic Church allegedly proclaimed: that there is no punishment. Souls that are lost to God are simply ‘annihilated’ and just miss out on the ‘banquet’.
But someone else in New York seemed to be having his own banquet. On the April 02 2015 (Holy Thursday for Catholics) airing of the NBC show Today, Matt Lauer makes an announcement on the thirteenth minute after eight am, of course: "It's 8:13! Great time to trend today! Folks, you're ready?! Remember a couple of weeks ago a guy hand-delivered a pizza to the Pope made by the local pizza parlor? Well, we don't know if he ate that pizza, but now the pontiff has been asked to cut back on another Italian favorite: pasta! An Italian news report says that Francis has gained a little weight since being elected two years ago. So the doctors at the Vatican want to put him on a pasta diet".
"Oh my God!" exclaims Al Rocker. "They want to put him off the pasta that they want him to eat no more than twice a week! And they also want him to exercise more," continues Matt Lauer. "This is Italy! It should be against the law! You can't eat pasta less than twice a week!" says Savannah Guthrie.
"Who wants to tell the pope that news, too?" asks Carson Daly. "Yeah. How do you do that?" asks Al Rocker.
"You would have to have some very high-ranking Catholic deliver that news, don't you think? As a matter of fact, we have some high-ranking Catholic: we have Cardinal Dolan!" exclaims Lauer in the midst of the loud laughs responding to a live camera shot of Cardinal Dolan eating some spaghetti in a kitchen somewhere.
"Happy Pass over! Happy Easter," says a cheerful Dolan while winking with one eye as he's rolling some spaghetti with a fork. "Listen, holy father: you said you always listen to your Cardinals? Listen to me: Get a new doctor. Alright?", he exclaims as the four anchor people hysterically laugh back in their studio. "And secondly, here is what I do holy father…this really helps cut down the calories: take these basil leaves out of the pasta, alright? Then you could have the whole bowl and that cuts down the calories. Alright? All I know is next time I'm in Rome better be on one of those two days you are eating pasta."
And as the fun show goes on in the midst of laughter and joyful emptiness, Savannah Guthrie mentions Cardinal Dolan (who is still feasting on his spaghetti) eating a sandwich as she was getting ready to interview him in Rome for the election of the new pope. To this, he winks for a third time and, smilingly, he says "Let's do it again…" which is followed by a slightly sinister "we have a lot of work to do."

FATHER BARRON
– I Reasonably Absolve You of Your Worry

Father Robert Barron in a YouTube video titled 'Fr. Robert Barron on Whether Hell is Crowded or Empty'
Father, Robert, Barron, Robert Barron, Catholic, priest, Pope, Francis, hell, heaven, heresy

Father, Robert, Barron, Word on Fire, Catholic, priest, Hell, reasonIn this video, Father Robert Barron first discusses many extreme positions about Hell, all of which belong to past doctors of the Church. Some would lean towards the most positive resolution predicting eternal salvation for all souls (including the fallen angels) to theories proposing the antipodal picture of a tiny group of souls as being the only rose to ever taste eternal glory. After this manipulating roller-coaster of scenarios, he finally begins discussing the position of Swiss Catholic theologian Hans Urs von Balthasar, crediting him with the idea that 'we may reasonably hope that all people will be saved'. This is the idea that Fr. Robert Barron professes to agree with most. It is not until five and a half minutes into the video that we really begin to hear what Father Robert Barron personally believes. Here are his words:

"God has gone to the limits of God-forsakenness to effect this salvation. Can it be resisted? Yes. And that's why we have to hold to the existence of Hell, at least as a possibility. See, Hell or Gehenna, the fire, all that, those are spatial and visual metaphors for the state of deep loneliness that comes from having rejected the Divine Love. That's how I put it. Hell is not so much a place, we use spatial metaphors for it. It's a condition, a state of being. It's having refused in freedom the Divine Love and it results in this terrible loneliness. We have to accept the possibility of Hell. We have to accept the existence of it as possibility because of human freedom. But, are any human beings in Hell? We don't know. We don't know. The Church has never declared on that subject and, and we may pray that all be saved and may even reasonably hope that all people be saved."

He then quotes C.S. Lewis and goes on by saying that "it's not so much that God sends someone to Hell and then locks the door. Rather, we send ourselves there. IF anyone's in Hell, he or she has sent himself or sent herself there and now has locked the door. I've used the image before of Heaven's like this great party, it's a share in the Divine Life, everyone's invited. Hell would be the state of that person who has slunk into the corner and refused to join the party – has locked himself in to this dark and sad and lonely place. Not so much sent there by an avenging God, but a self-imposed exile. That's Hell as a possibility."

Finally, as if the words of a writer mattered more than the ones of a saint like sister Faustina Kowalska whose vision of Hell remains unmentioned, the priest re-quotes C.S. Lewis and smartly ends his discourse with "bottom line: We may reasonably hope that all people will be saved."

STEALING GOD’S THUNDER – Extinguishing HellChurch, Catholic, Hell, God, Wrath, Judgment, The Wild Voice

To debate on whether there might (or might not) be any souls in Hell, or to even explain Hell as a simple ‘spatial metaphor’ in which a soul casts him/herself to suffer loneliness is to deny a very crucial truth of faith. Further, to go so far as to boldly deny the reality of God's active and decisional authority to sentence a soul into punishment, or to proclaim that the lost souls of the rebellious are simply annihilated into nothingness is to border heresy. Jesus Christ had no hesitation in declaring men's souls doomed into the Gehenna whenever listing the grave unrepented sins they would commit.
If we do not fear Hell (which is both God's Eternal Wrath upon the doomed and a part of creation we must accept and believe in), then we will neither fear offending Christ through sin nor will we fear the consequences of His perfect Judgment upon our souls.

The Truth is: one unrepented mortal sin will cost us eternity.

To question the reality of the destination of God's Just Punishments upon those who committed evil is to simply deny His very Justice and to take for granted the rewards of that eternal salvation we can gain through the cross, only. Apparently the new KatholiK Gestapo Church markets God's Mercy as the easy ticket after a comfortable life on earth and before a glorious life in Heaven.
But contrarily to what is being falsely preached in this case, true Catholics do not believe in the possibility of Hell being an empty place. We do not believe Hell to be an abstract and self-sought state of being either, for some among those who ended up in that obscure site truly believed to be destined to a self-created heaven inspired by some new age theory or in which a man could possess 72 virgins for his own pleasures. Such concepts are just that: concepts. These are human fabrications inspired by the deceiving breath of Satan, the father of all lies. If we were to believe in the possibility of an empty Hell, we could easily erase any fear of God in our hearts which, in fact, has become one of the very reasons for the loss of that salvific faith we are in most need.

This loss of the Judgment's fear rids God of His Almighty authority while promoting a state of denial. If we even ponder on this issue, then our faith is 'incomplete' and our confidence in God's Mercy has rather become sheer self-entitlement based on the humanistic doctrines that are ruining our Catholic Church.
Mercy is of God, but not stupidity. The second one, belonging only to us, becomes the excusing quality we foolishly project unto Him Who Knows all things. But there is no game we can play with God.
The prophecies within the Book Of The Bible speak clearly of the end days, and just like one third of the angels fell into Hell back at some point in eternity, so will many amongst the elect fall from grace and into the Lake of Fire. God Is in control of all things. He Is the only Judge, and just like a judge, He Condemns His children to perdition as much as He Rewards them to glory, for only God Has authority over all things, both seen and unseen.  We, mere creatures of mud made out of the nothingness of the yesteryears, will be trembling and alone in front of this perfect and just Judge. This is the Holy Word of God, and to deny it is to deny the Truth.

SPEAKING OF HELL – ‘A Place of Great Torture’Hell

Please think of the light, fluffy words above of ‘Pope Francis’ and Fr. Robert Barron and then read the words recorded below about Hell.

HOLY SCRIPTURE
– ‘Wailing and Gnashing of Teeth’

REVELATION 21:8
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

MATTHEW 25:46
“And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”

2 THESSALONIANS 1:9
“Who shall suffer eternal punishment in destruction, from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of his power:”

MARK 9:43
“And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:”

MATTHEW 13:42
“And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

VISIONS OF HELL – ‘A PLACE OF GREAT TORTURE’

SISTER LUCIA, FATIMA APPARITIONS
“Our Lady showed us a great sea of fire which seemed to be under the earth. Plunged in this fire were demons and souls in human form, like transparent burning embers, all blackened or burnished bronze, floating about in the conflagration, now raised into the air by the flames that issued from within themselves together with great clouds of smoke, now falling back on every side like sparks in a huge fire, without weight or equilibrium, and amid shrieks and groans of pain and despair, which horrified us and made us tremble with fear. The demons could be distinguished by their terrifying and repulsive likeness to frightful and unknown animals, all black and transparent. This vision lasted but an instant. How can we ever be grateful enough to our kind heavenly Mother, who had already prepared us by promising, in the first Apparition, to take us to heaven. Otherwise, I think we would have died of fear and terror.”

ST. TERESA OF AVILA
Teresa, of, Avila, Hell, The WILD VOICE, Maria, Divine, MercyThe entrance seemed to be by a long narrow pass, like a furnace, very low, dark, and close. The ground seemed to be saturated with water, mere mud, exceedingly foul, sending forth pestilential odors, and covered with loathsome vermin. At the end was a hollow place in the wall, like a closet, and in that I saw myself confined. All this was even pleasant to behold in comparison with what I felt there. There is no exaggeration in what I am saying…I felt a fire in my soul. I cannot see how it is possible to describe it. My bodily sufferings were unendurable. I have undergone most painful sufferings in this life… yet all these were as nothing in comparison with what I felt then, especially when I saw that there would be no intermission, nor any end to them…Left in that pestilential place, and utterly without the power to hope for comfort, I could neither sit nor lie down: there was no room. I was placed as it were in a hole in the wall; and those walls, terrible to look on of themselves, hemmed me in on every side. I could not breathe. There was no light, but all was thick darkness…Afterwards I had another most fearful vision, in which I saw the punishment of certain sins. They were most horrible to look at…I have read of the diverse tortures, and how the devils tear the flesh with red-hot pincers. But all is as nothing before this; it is a wholly different matter. In short, the one is a reality, the other a picture; and all burning here in this life is as nothing in comparison with the fire that is there. I was so terrified by that vision,–and that terror is on me even now while I am writing,–that though it took place nearly six years ago, the natural warmth of my body is chilled by fear even now when I think of it…It was that vision that filled me with the very great distress which I feel at the sight of so many lost souls, especially of the Lutherans,–for they were once members of the Church by baptism,–and also gave me the most vehement desires for the salvation of souls; for certainly I believe that, to save even one from those overwhelming torments, I would most willingly endure many deaths.”

ST. FAUSTINA KOWALSKA
Sister, Faustina, Kowalska, nun, Catholic, visions, of, Hell, saint, Divine, Mery, Chaplet, Maria“Today I was led by an Angel to the chasms of hell. It is a place of great torture; how awesomely large and extensive it is! The kinds of tortures I saw: the first torture that constitutes hell is the loss of God; the second is perpetual remorse of conscience; the third is that one’s condition will never change; the fourth is the fire that will penetrate the soul without destroying it – a terrible suffering, since it is a purely spiritual fire, lit by God’s anger; the fifth torture is continual darkness and a terrible suffocating smell, and, despite the darkness, the devils and the souls of the damned see each other and all the evil, both of others and their own; the sixth torture is the constant company of Satan; the seventh torture is horrible despair, hatred of God, vile words, curses and blasphemies. These are the tortures suffered by all the damned together, but that is not the end of their sufferings. There are special tortures destined for particular souls. These are the torments of the senses. Each soul undergoes terrible and indescribable sufferings, related to the manner in which it has sinned. There are caverns and pits of torture where one form of agony differs from another. I would have died at the very sight of these tortures if the omnipotence of God had not supported me. Let the sinner know that he will be tortured throughout all eternity, in those senses which he made use of to sin. I am writing this at the command of God, so that no soul may find an excuse by saying there is no hell, or that nobody has ever been there, and so no one can say what it is like.
I, Sister Faustina, by the order of God, have visited the abysses of hell so that I might tell souls about it and testify to its existence. I cannot speak about it now; but I have received a command from God to leave it in writing. The devils were full of hatred for me, but they had to obey me at the command of God. What I have written is but a pale shadow of the things I saw. But I noticed one thing: that most of the souls there are those who disbelieved that there is a hell. When I came to, I could hardly recover from the fright. How terribly souls suffer there! Consequently, I pray even more fervently for the conversion of sinners. I incessantly plead God’s mercy upon them. O my Jesus, I would rather be in agony until the end of the world, amidst the greatest sufferings, than offend You by the least sin.”

SAINTS SPEAK – About Reality of Hell

St. Anthony Mary Claret
“It is of faith that Heaven exists for the good and Hell for the wicked. Faith teaches that the pains of Hell are eternal, and it also warns us that one single mortal sin suffices to condemn a soul forever because of the infinite malice by which it offends an infinite God.”

St. Benedict Joseph Labre
“Meditate on the horrors of Hell which will last for eternity because of one easily-committed mortal sin. Try hard to be among the few who are chosen. Think of the eternal flames of Hell, and how few there are that are saved.”

St. Catherine of Siena
“I saw the torments of hell and those of purgatory; no words can describe them. Had poor mortals the faintest idea of them, they would suffer a thousand deaths rather than undergo the least of their torments during a single day.”

St. Clement of Alexandria
“All souls are immortal, even those of the wicked. Yet, it would be better for them if they were not deathless. For they are punished with the endless vengeance of quenchless fire. Since they do not die, it is impossible for them to have an end put to their misery.”

St. Francis Xavier
“How many souls turn away from the road to glory, and go to hell!”

St. John Bosco
“If you die as an unbeliever, you will be damned and lost forever.”

St. John of the Cross
“Behold how many there are who are called, and how few who are chosen! And behold, if you have no care for yourself, your perdition is more certain than your amendment, especially since the way that leads to eternal life is so narrow.”

Ven. Mary of Agreda
“That those who walk in the way of salvation are the smaller number is due to the vice and depraved habits imbibed in youth and nourished in childhood. By these means Lucifer has hurled into Hell so great a number of souls, and continues thus to hurl them into Hell every day, casting so many nations from abyss to abyss of darkness and errors, such as are contained in the heresies and false sects of the infidels.”
